How many times have you said or heard that we live in the most greatest country in the world? Probably
all of your life, yet, even though the United States of America is the Greatest Country in the world for many reasons,
there are still things that most American's refuse to acknowledge, and makes us not the greatest.
For to say we are the Greatest Country country in the world, we can only do this by how the people of this
great country are taken care of, what is available to them, and how we treat each other.
I have been attending services for a long time now at one of the Churches in my area, and a great lesson has
been being taught there, one of which I would like to share.
When Jesus was asked:
Matthew 22:36-39...."Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?'
Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment, and the Second is like it, "Love
your neighbor as yourself!"
Unfortunately, most of us forget the latter, because we are so wrapped up in our own little realities, that those
who are in need or even the neighbor next door is never acknowledged.
We cannot block out the truth, by not seeing, speaking or allowing ourselves to hear about or be educated in
the realities of life in America. We have to acknowledge that there are some people who through no fault of their own,
or by wrong choices, or by circumstance have found themselves not living the AMERICAN DREAM right here in America.
Did you know:
- There are between 900,000 and 1.4 million children who are homeless each year here, in the richest nation in the world.
- 4 million women are physically assaulted by male partners or cohabitants in the United States each year
- There are more than 800 million hungry people in the world today.
The best estimate of the US Department of Agriculture locates 36 million of them in the United States, arguably the richest
nation on Earth, and the world’s number one food exporter.
- 1 in 8 CHILDREN IN AMERICA is starving...
- One of every four Women are victims of murder by intimates.
- Violence and abuse does not stop just because the victim has left their abuser...it can continue for years.
- There is more shelters for animals in the United States, than we have for men, women and children.
We assist those who come to us for help FREE OF CHARGE, we ask that you assist us in helping those
who are in need.

Most of the people, do not, will not and won't SEE, HEAR OR SPEAK ABOUT, those who need help except
to Criticize or Judge those who are struggling.
Would this surprise you to know there are people in this country that have it so Good, that they
have never been exposed to those who do not have it so good?
