Everyone remembers what it was like to be a child. As children, we know
that all our wishes can come true if we would just wish hard enough, long enough and believe in them. That is what this play is about, believing in something hard enough, long enough and making our wishes
and dreams come true.
The Author of ‘Jack & Jill in the Special Wish’ is the founder of “Angels On Earth Inc”. Angel’s On Earth Inc. is a 501c3 organization that helps survivors of
Violence and Abuse become Thrivers.
This is part of the Angels ‘CHINS’
program, (Children In Need of Services), and their ‘ACTORS FOR CHARITY’ program.
Though this play is fun, whimsical, entertaining, and amusing, it is also
a vehicle in which Angels On Earth is able to reach people from all walks of
life to educate, inform and empower them about the realities of the affects and
results of Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Homelessness of children in our
neighborhoods and communities.
Through the distribution of literature and the
availability of advocates at the performances, that can answer questions about these Issues and Causes that affect us all
directly or indirectly, Angels On Earth Inc. will enlighten those who attend
with information that may help them, or someone they know.

a major part of the literature that is handed out!”
This is some of the realities that is introduced
in the literature handed out at the performances:
- There are between 900,000 and 1.4 million children who
are homeless each year here, in the richest nation in the world.
- 4 million women are physically assaulted by male partners
or cohabitants in the United States each year
- There are more than 800 million hungry people in the world today. The best estimate
of the US Department of Agriculture locates 36 million of them in the United States, arguably the richest nation on Earth,
and the world’s number one food exporter.
- 1 in 8 CHILDREN IN AMERICA is starving...
- One of every four Women is victim of murder by intimates.
- Violence and abuse does not stop just because the victim
has left their abuser...it can continue for years.
- There are more shelters for animals in the United States, than we have for men, women, and children.
It is not enough to be informed, it is also important to learn how you can help and that is what the
people that attend ‘JACK & JILL in the SPECIAL WISH’ will also learn.
How they as individuals, groups and as a community can make a difference in the lives of these children and their families.
