HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

This program is one that we formed in 2002, to help children who are slipping through the cracks in our local schools.  These children need that little extra help.   I started this program because my daughter Lisa had a hard time in school, needing a 'HANDS ON APPROACH TO LEARNING'  because of this program she has improved her skills.

We do this hands on program, that addresses the issues, problems and learning difficulties of each child.

Improving them in SPELLING, MATH, ARTS, READING, TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE.

As a parent of a child that has difficulties in school, I have spent the past 8 years fighting with teachers, principals, and school officials to get the helped needed for my daughter Lisa to be able to learn how to spell.
And if you are a parent who has had to deal with the public school system you realize that they do not listen to the parent, they feel that we are over reacting, and/or tell us "I have 27 kids in my class".

IN OTHER WORDS YOUR CHILD IS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO HELP.  BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY MORE THAT MAY NOT BE HAVING A PROBLEM.

That has been my experience, they have blamed my daughters lack of skills, on learning disabilities, too many absences, laziness, and low IQ.

The fact is not all children learn in the same way.  Some learn by reading books, some learn by lectures, and there are some like my daughter who needs HANDS ON learning.

If  your child is one of these children call us about the SMARTS program (formly Rock & Learn)  we do this in the Summer.

However, I hope to be able to introduce it into the Broward School system and other schools systems, as an after-school program, for children like ours, who are slipping through the cracks.
